~ Acting ~

Performing was my introduction into theater and has consistently been my main way of self expression. I have always connected most to comedy, but doing deeper work is a special part of what makes me a dynamic actor and artist. I love how emotions can flow out from text to body and voice. Within every role, I bring parts of myself, and I savor the continuities and differences that make up their creation.

Midsummer at Oxford

After graduating from DePaul, I felt a longing to study Shakespeare and take a break from improvised work. I was accepted into The British American Drama Academy’s Midsummer at Oxford program, and spent one month studying Shakespeare and British technique alongside actors from all over the world. Every day from 9-5, I was challenged to push my body, voice, and stamina. The techniques that I learned over the course of that month from fellow actors and special teachers, are tools I will use forever.
